Privacy policy

This policy explains what data AKS Taxi processes, why it is needed and which rights you have.

Last updated: 14 September 2026

We use your data for your request, journey, customer service, administration and security. With your permission, we also measure website use. We do not sell your data.

1. Data controller

AKS Taxi is responsible for personal data collected through the website, quote requests, bookings and direct contact.

2. Data we process

Depending on your request, we process name, company, email, telephone, pickup and destination addresses, travel dates, passengers, luggage, vehicle preference, flight details, payment and invoice information, communications and special transport requests.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We process data to prepare a quote, perform a contract, plan the journey, handle payments and legal administration, provide customer support and prevent misuse.

  • Pre-contractual steps and performance of the transport contract
  • Legal obligations, including tax administration
  • Legitimate interests in security, planning and quality improvement
  • Consent where specifically required by law, such as optional marketing

4. Recipients

We share only necessary data with the assigned chauffeur, payment and communications providers, hosting and technical providers, accounting advisers and competent authorities where required by law. They receive no more data than needed for their task.

5. Retention

Quote requests that do not lead to a booking are generally retained for no longer than 24 months after the last contact. Confirmed journeys, payments and invoices are retained as needed for service, complaints and statutory accounting or tax obligations. Data is then deleted or anonymised unless an ongoing dispute requires longer retention.

6. Security and transfers

We restrict access to authorised persons and use appropriate technical and organisational measures. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we use a legally recognised transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it. Some rights are subject to statutory exceptions.

  • Send your request to the email address below
  • We may request additional information to verify your identity
  • You may complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority at dataprotectionauthority.be

8. Automated decisions

AKS Taxi does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.

9. Changes

We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The date above identifies the current version.

10. Website analytics and cookies

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to measure visits, form and booking steps, contact clicks and paid bookings. Google tags load only after you allow analytics. Advertising storage and ad personalisation remain disabled. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, journey addresses and personal access codes are not sent as analytics data.

Your cookie choice is stored in your browser for up to 180 days. You can withdraw consent using Cookie preferences. Google may process analytics on its own infrastructure. More information: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
