Terms and conditions

Clear arrangements for quotes, bookings, prices, waiting time, changes and cancellations.

Last updated: 26 August 2026

A quote request is free and non-binding. A journey is only final after you accept our proposal and receive our confirmation.

1. Scope and contact

These terms apply to quotes and transport services offered under the AKS Taxi name. Questions can be submitted through the contact details at the bottom of this page.

2. Quote request and contract

A quote request is not a final booking and does not oblige you to purchase. We review the route, planning, passengers, luggage and vehicle needs before sending a proposal.

The transport contract is formed only after you accept the proposal and AKS Taxi confirms the journey in writing or electronically. Check the confirmation immediately and report errors as soon as possible.

3. Accurate journey details

You are responsible for accurate addresses, dates, times, contact details, passenger numbers, luggage and flight information. A change affecting distance, duration or vehicle requirements may result in an adjusted price.

4. Price and payment

The proposal states the total journey price and what is included. Additional stops, route changes, undeclared luggage, extra waiting time or additional services are only charged after consultation.

The available payment method and due date are stated in the proposal or confirmation. Business payment by invoice is available only after prior approval.

5. Pickup, waiting and no-show

Be reachable and ready at the confirmed pickup point at the agreed time. Unless the confirmation states otherwise, 30 minutes of waiting time is included for airport pickups and 15 minutes for other pickups.

If we cannot locate you after reasonable contact attempts and the included waiting time has expired, the journey may be treated as a no-show. Any charge is limited to the confirmed terms and reasonable costs of the reserved capacity.

6. Changes and cancellation

A confirmed journey may be cancelled free of charge until 24 hours before pickup unless an individual proposal expressly states different terms. A later cancellation or no-show may be charged up to the confirmed journey price, depending on costs already incurred and reserved capacity.

Contact us as early as possible for changes. We will confirm whether the change is possible and whether the price changes.

7. Passengers, luggage and safety

Tell us in advance about all passengers, children, large luggage, mobility aids and special requests. The chauffeur may refuse or end transport where safety, law or vehicle capacity requires it.

The customer is responsible for proven damage or exceptional cleaning costs caused by the customer or travelling party.

8. Delay and force majeure

We plan carefully, but traffic, accidents, road closures, extreme weather, government action and other circumstances outside our reasonable control can cause delay. Where possible, we will inform you and seek a reasonable solution.

9. Right of withdrawal

Belgian consumer law does not provide a statutory 14-day cooling-off period for passenger transport on a specific date or during a specific period. The change and cancellation terms above still apply.

10. Complaints and governing law

Submit complaints as soon as possible with your reference and relevant information. We handle reports personally and aim to respond within a reasonable period.

Belgian law applies. Mandatory consumer rights and the jurisdiction of courts designated by law remain unaffected.
